Terms of Use

1. General provisions

AutoNews.com.ua is an information service that provides reports on the history of vehicles by VIN, licence plate number or lot number based on data from open and partner sources.

The Service may be used by legally capable individuals who have reached the age of 18, as well as by legal entities acting through authorised representatives. By using the Service, you confirm that you have the right to enter into legally binding agreements.

2. Terms and definitions

• Service — the AutoNews.com.ua website and its related interfaces and features.
• Administration — the owner and operator of the Service, ensuring its operation.
• User — any person who accesses the Service or uses its features.
• Account — the User's personal account created during registration.
• Report — an electronic document with collected information about the history of a vehicle.
• Content — texts, images, graphics, data and software code posted on the Service.

3. Registration and account

1. To access paid features and save reports, the User creates an account by providing accurate data.
2. The User is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all actions performed under their account.
3. The User must immediately notify the Administration of any unauthorised use of the account.
4. A single User must not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse promotions.

4. Rules of use

The User undertakes to use the Service in good faith and in accordance with the applicable legislation of Ukraine. In particular, the User agrees to:

• Use the Service only for lawful personal or business purposes.
• Provide accurate vehicle identifiers for generating reports.
• Respect the intellectual property rights of the Administration and third parties.
• Not disrupt the stable operation of the Service or its technical infrastructure.

5. Prohibited actions

When using the Service, it is prohibited to:

• Automatically collect data (scraping, parsing), copy or resell reports without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, other Users' accounts or internal data.
• Upload malicious software or create excessive load on the Service.
• Impersonate another person or provide knowingly false data.
• Use the Service for actions that violate the rights of third parties or applicable law.

6. Reports and their use

Reports are generated on the basis of data available at the time of the request and are of an informational and reference nature. The User is granted the right to use the purchased Report for their own needs.

7. Intellectual property

All intellectual property objects posted on the Service — the name, logo, design, software code, texts, report structure — belong to the Administration or are used by it on lawful grounds and are protected by the legislation of Ukraine and international agreements.

Use of the Service does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the User, except for the right to personal use of purchased reports. Copying, reproduction or distribution of the Content without the written permission of the Administration is prohibited.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Administration does not guarantee the uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Service, nor the completeness and relevance of data in primary sources that are beyond its control.

The Administration makes reasonable efforts to ensure data quality but does not guarantee that a Report will contain absolutely all records about a vehicle.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Administration is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or the User's decisions made on the basis of a Report. The Administration's aggregate liability is limited to the cost of the service actually paid for by the User.

The Administration is not liable for failures caused by the actions of third parties, providers, payment systems or force majeure circumstances.

10. Suspension and termination of access

The Administration has the right to restrict, suspend or terminate the User's access to the Service in the event of a breach of these Terms, abuse of the Service's features or the commission of unlawful actions, including without prior notice if circumstances so require.

The User may stop using the Service and delete their account at any time in the account settings or by contacting support.

11. Changes to the Terms

The Administration has the right to unilaterally update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page indicating the date of the update. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means the User agrees to the updated version.

12. Final provisions

These Terms are governed by the legislation of Ukraine. Disputes arising in connection with the use of the Service are resolved through negotiations, and if agreement is not reached — in court in accordance with the applicable legislation. If a particular provision of these Terms is found invalid, the other provisions remain in force.
